Detailed explanation of the video

Within the browser window uThings organizes your workspace into four areas:

  • The Map: always occupy the entire screen as a working background, the rest of the components will be placed on it, but always superimposed on the map. The Map displays all Map Services that are active.
  • The Header: forms a band at the top of the screen on the Map that only acquires gray background when the cursor is placed on it. Contains the urbiThings logo, the “About” of Urbimática with the current version, the current Work Administrative Unit, the User with the session in progress and a start menu.
  • The Tool Panel that is displayed on the Map from the right edge of the screen and contains the essential components of Search, Sort Catalog and Toolbars. Its size is controlled by dragging its left edge or with the buttons close and open the Panel.
  • The Modules Panel that is displayed on the Map from the left edge of the screen and contains the different collaborative functions of urbiThings. Its size is controlled by dragging its right edge or with the buttons close and open the Panel.
  • The Results Panel that is displayed on the Map from the bottom edge of the screen and displays the data that results from queries on the Map or other components. Its size is controlled by dragging its top edge or with the close and open buttons Panel.

The three Panels can be deployed and retracted with the orange arrows at all times to leave the maximum space to the Map.

While they are deployed, they can be superimposed over one another, but at all times the user can select the front panel by clicking the mouse on its contents.
