Territories

UThings maintains a worldwide database of Administrative Units: land boundaries assigned to one or more organizations with territorial jurisdiction.
They are structured in six hierarchically dependent levels, the first one is formed by 255 countries although the UN only recognizes to 194.
From this level in each country there are different structures, from the simplest as a country / municipality to the most complex as in France: country / region / department / district / canton / commune.
In total, 293,849 areas are distributed in six levels:

  4. = 142.614
  5. = 47.085
  6. = 51.425 (only exist in France and Rwanda)
